Johor polls: Youths to benefit from Barisan manifesto, says Ahmad Maslan

PONTIAN: The Barisan Nasional (BN) manifesto for the Johor state election next month will include five areas specially catered for the younger generation, says Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan.

The Pontian MP said they include education, skills, employment, business and housing, which he described as covering all the basic areas of what youths require and are interested in.

Ahmad said only BN was capable of providing youths with a better life and believes this will encourage more young voters to be rationale and choose the coalition in the March 12 election.

"The five said areas had been carefully planned and looked into, and younger voters can evaluate how they stand to benefit from what BN is capable of providing them,” he told reporters after attending a Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Bhd (PUNB) briefing and dialogue session here on Sunday (Feb 13). - Bernama
