Dr Abd Latiff says he will not be contesting


PETALING JAYA: Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Special Tasks) Datuk Dr Abd Latiff Ahmad has denied that he is contesting in the Johor election following talks that he is being primed as Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia’s frontrunner for mentri besar.

The Mersing MP, who is state Bersatu election director, dismissed the speculation, saying that he intends to devote his time to his ministerial role in the Federal Government and his parliamentary constituency.
