Op Selamat 17: Traffic accidents in S'gor down 30.87% compared with same period in 2020


SHAH ALAM: The number of road accidents in Selangor in the first four days of the special operation in conjunction with Chinese New Year have seen a 30.87% decrease compared to the same period in 2020.

Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Arjunaidi Mohamed (pic), in a statement here Tuesday (Feb 1), said that during the current "Op Selamat 17", a total of 1,420 accidents were recorded in the first four days, while 2,054 accidents were recorded within the same period in 2020.
