Covid-19: Slight dip in daily cases with 5,139 new infections reported

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 5,139 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday (Jan 29), says the Health Ministry.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah tweeted that this brings the cumulative number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 2,861,069 cases since the pandemic began.

He also added that a detailed breakdown on Saturday's daily infection figures would be uploaded to the Health Ministry's CovidNow portal at midnight.
