AYER HITAM: A woman driver was pinned in her seat while a man driving another car sustained broken legs when they were involved in an accident near here on Wednesday (Dec 29).
Ayer Hitam Fire and Rescue Department chief Mohamad Shamin Mohamed Salikin said they received an emergency call at 7.29am on the incident at Kampung Parit Sempadan.
Shamin said six firefighters led by senior officer II Shalneeraj Abdullah and a Fire Rescue Tender vehicle were dispatched to the scene.
He said two cars, one driven by a woman in her 40s and the other by a 44-year-old man, had collided at the entrance of the village.
The woman was pinned in her seat and suffered minor injuries while the man's legs were broken after his car plunged into a nearby ditch.
He said both victims were rescued from their vehicles and taken to hospital by 8.43am.
