RESPECTED Bangladeshi journalist Mahfuz Anam, who is the editor and publisher of Bangladesh's largest selling English daily - The Daily Star - has been elected Asia News Network's (ANN) nextChairman.
The 72-year-old journalist takes over from outgoing chairman Warren Fernandez on January 1, 2022, for a two-year term.
