Floods: Johor MCA Youth rushes to arrange boats to rescue victims in Taman Sri Muda, says Dr Wee


PETALING JAYA: About 150 people in Taman Sri Muda in Shah Alam were rescued from their flooded houses by the MCA Youth and Johor MCA's Crisis Relief Squad (CRSM).

In thanking the team, MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said Johor MCA Youth chief Ling Tian Soon, who is also his political secretary, rushed back to Johor and managed to arrange several rescue boats to be sent to the flooded areas in Selangor immediately after the MCA general assembly on Sunday (Dec 19) afternoon.
