Sarawak Polls: 17% early voter turnout as of 9am

KUCHING: The turnout for early voting has reached 17% as of 9am Tuesday (Dec 14), says the Election Commission.

The process will involve 12,585 army and 10,458 police personnel as well as their spouses.

The state election will witness a battle between 348 candidates vying for 82 seats in the Sarawak legislative assembly.

Polling will be on Dec 18.
