100-day report card: Cabinet’s overall performance stands at 90%, says PM

KUALA LUMPUR: The overall performance of the Cabinet in its 100-day report card stood at 90%, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

The Prime Minister said the realisation of the Keluarga Malaysia government is based on six main cores and 140 key targets expected to be implemented within the first 100 days.

"The overall performance for the Cabinet in its 100 days in service has not yet reached 100% but at the moment, the performance stood about 90%," he said when launching the 100-Day Malaysian Family Aspiration programme on Thursday (Dec 9).

Ismail Sabri had announced during the unveiling of his Cabinet on Aug 27 that the newly appointed ministers were given 100 days to achieve their performance targets once taking office.

A total of 31 ministries and five agencies under the Prime Minister's Department are required to achieve their targets.

The targets are based on evaluation on performance, leadership and public perception.

The 100-day performance was monitored jointly by the Office of the Chief Secretary to the Government, the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (Mampu) and Shared Prosperity Delivery Unit (Sepadu) between Sept 1 and Dec 9.

The event was marked with a four-day carnival between Dec 9 and 12 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, showcasing various ministerial achievements and services.
