Domestic carbon trading to be implemented in phases from end of 2022

KUALA LUMPUR: Carbon trading at the domestic level will be implemented in phases beginning end of next year, said Environment and Water Minister Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man (pic).

He said the Finance Ministry was currently working with the Environment and Water Ministry (Kasa) and Bursa Malaysia in an effort to get buy-ins from the state governments as well as attract investments from potential carbon credit buyers.
