Covid-19: King expresses concern over spread of Omicron variant


KUALA LUMPUR: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah expresses concern over the spread of the Omicron variant that has been categorised as a variant of concern by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

Comptroller of the Royal Household of Istana Negara Datuk Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin said His Majesty advised the people to continue practising self-discipline in complying with the standard operating procedures (SOP) set by the government to contain the Covid-19 outbreak and called on them to be vigilant while conducting their daily affairs.
