Jauteh Dikun takes over as Deputy Sabah Police Commissioner


KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Criminal Investigations Department (CID) chief Datuk Jauteh Dikun has been promoted to Deputy Sabah Police Commissioner with immediate effect.

Jauteh replaces Datuk Mazli Mazlan, who will take over as deputy director of the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department in Bukit Aman.

The handover of duties was witnessed by Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Idris Abdullah at the Kepayan state police headquarters here Monday (Nov 29).

Bukit Aman's special investigations CID assistant director Senior Asst Comm Sapii Ahmad also took over as Sabah CID chief.

On his promotion, Jauteh said he was thankful for the confidence and opportunity given to him in taking up the Sabah Deputy Police Commissioner position.
