MELAKA: Barisan Nasional has wrested the Kelebang seat from Pakatan Harapan.
According to Election Commission, the coalition’s candidate from MCA, Datuk Lim Ban Hong, has won the seat with 5,028 votes.
He had a 876-vote majority over Pakatan's Datuk Gue Teck (4,152 votes) and Perikatan Nasional’s Bakri Jamaluddin (3,884 votes) in the three-cornered fight.
In GE14, Gue Teck won the seat with a majority of 789 votes over Lim and PAS’ Mohd Shafiq Ismail.
There are 20,166 registered voters in Kelebang.
