SHAH ALAM: A picture has gone viral supposedly showing a new political party with the name Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) being registered.
The picture of PBM's registration approval was also seen to have a stamp believed to be from the Registration of Societies (ROS).
However, no one has yet come forward to claim to be the founder or individual who registered the party, reported Sinar Harian.
A search on the ROS website also showed that no party or organization had registered under the name.
Earlier, there was talk of the formation of a new party linked to Senior Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali and Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin.
However, Mohamed Azmin, who is also International Trade and Industry Minister, and Zuraida denied the establishment of the party.
Mohamed Azmin and Zuraida joined Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia last year after leaving Parti Keadilan Rakyat.
