Covid-19: 13,754 new cases on Thursday (Sept 23), Selangor highest with 1,985


PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia reported 13,754 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday (Sept 23).

Health director general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the country’s cumulative total number of infections now stood at 2,156,678

Selangor recorded the highest daily figure with 1,985 new Covid-19 infections, followed by Johor (1,913).

This is followed by Sarawak (1,766), Sabah (1,629), Kelantan (1,264) and Penang (1,052).

Aside from this, the figures for the other states are as follows; Pahang (869), Perak (844), Kedah (783), Terengganu (664), Kuala Lumpur (383), Melaka (292), Negri Sembilan (175), Perlis (113), Putrajaya (14) and Labuan (8).
