Industry players agree to further reduce chicken price


PUTRAJAYA (Bernama): Industry players have agreed to further reduce the price of chicken at the producer and farm levels in order to stabilise the wholesale and retail prices and help consumers enjoy chicken at a reasonable price.

The matter was informed in the meeting between the Agriculture and Food Industries Ministry and the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry on Tuesday (Sept 21) which was attended by the respective ministers, namely Datuk Seri Dr Ronald Kiandee and Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi.
