KUALA LUMPUR: Cyber warfare countermeasures are in place to ensure the nation is well protected from any such intrusions, says the Armed Forces.

Armed Forces chief Jen Tan Sri Affendi Buang, in a special press conference to mark the upcoming 88th Armed Forces Day on Sept 16, said the Defence Cyber and Electromagnetic Division (BSEP) was always ready to counter such attacks.

“It is an ongoing operation to counter any cyber attacks that aim to weaken us. There have been instances where we were able to detect attacks early, and there were times where we could launch countermoves due to our early warning systems in place.
