Teacher champions donation drive for victims of landslide

KOTA KINABALU: Help has been coming in for families affected by the recent landslide in Kg Kopungit near here, including the three families whose children study at SMK Sanzac, Tanjung Aru.

This is due to the proactive efforts taken by one of the affected student’s class teacher, Marlin Sikil, 37, among others. She used WhatsApp to mobilise fellow teachers and students, as well as her friends and families, to donate what they could.
