PETALING JAYA: Roadblocks at the Federal Highway and Taman Kanagapuram here ended at midnight Thursday (Sept 9) as the Klang Valley moved into Phase 2 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) from 12.01am Friday (Sept 10).

Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said, however, that four other roadblocks in the district are still operational.

"The roadblocks are at the Sungai Buloh toll plaza, Subang toll plaza, Damansara toll plaza and Kota Damansara toll plaza," he said in a statement.

He also reminded the public to adhere to the Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOP) under Phase 2 of the NRP.

"Don't get complacent just because there is some relaxation of the SOP.

"The virus is still out there. Comply with the SOP so that we can curb the spread of the virus," ACP Fakhrudin added.
