PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia recorded 19,307 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday (Sept 9), according to the Health Ministry.
This takes the country's cumulative total to 1,919,774.
Sarawak remained the state with the highest number of cases with 3,118 new infections.
Selangor is second with 2,700 cases, followed by Sabah (2,298) and Penang (2,243).
Case figures for other states are Johor (2,032), Kelantan (1,438), Kedah (1,355), Perak (1,341), Terengganu (910), Pahang (661), Kuala Lumpur (513), Melaka (340), Negri Sembilan (207), Perlis (108), Putrajaya (28) and Labuan (15).
