Wan Junaidi pushing for parliamentary reforms


PETALING JAYA: Reforming Parliament by making the Dewan Rakyat an independent institution and introducing new laws to replace obsolete ones will be Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar’s (pic) mission as the de facto Law Minister.

The Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department said his proposed parliamentary reforms came following a one-and-a-half hour discussion with Dewan Rakyat Speaker Datuk Azhar Azizan Harun and Senate president Tan Sri Dr Rais Yatim.
