18 civil servants among 62 nabbed at entertainment outlet in Puchong

SERDANG: Eighteen civil servants were among 62 people detained by police after a raid at an entertainment outlet in the district here.

Serdang OCPD Asst Comm A.A. Anbalagan said the raid at 1.40pm on Saturday (Sept 4) was conducted at an entertainment outlet in Puchong.

"The premises was dark with loud music. At the time, the customers were drinking alcohol.

"Checks showed one person tested positive for meth. A total of 62 compound notices worth RM5,000 each were issued during the raid (over breach of standard operating procedures),” he said.

He added the youngest person inspected during the raid was 17 years old.
