Unscheduled water cuts again in Klang Valley due to odour pollution


PETALING JAYA: A total of 463 areas in five regions in the Klang Valley will be experiencing an unscheduled water disruption due to a shutdown of the Sungai Semenyih Water Treatment Plant (WTP), following odour pollution.

“The Sungai Semenyih WTP had to be shut down at 5.15pm on Friday (Sept 3), following an odour pollution incident detected in the Sungai Semenyih raw water source,” said Air Selangor in a Facebook post.
