Transparency International supports recall of Members of Parliament Act to be tabled in Dewan Rakyat

PETALING JAYA: Transparency International Malaysia (TI-M) is voicing its support for the call for a Recall of Members of Parliament Act to be tabled in Dewan Rakyat to prevent party hopping by elected lawmakers.

Its president Muhammad Mohan said that such a law would make elected representatives accountable to their electorates, and not to their parties or political masters.
