Khairy clocks in at Health Ministry after swearing-in


PUTRAJAYA: Khairy Jamaluddin has clocked in at the Health Ministry, just after he was sworn in as Health Minister.

He arrived at the Health Ministry at 5.15pm, right after attending the swearing- in ceremony at Istana Negara on Monday (Aug 30).

Also clocking in for work are the two deputy ministers Datuk Dr Noor Azmi Ghazali and Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang.

The newly-minted Health Minister was met on arrival by health secretary-general Datuk Mohd Shafiq Abdullah and director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

Khairy and his deputies went straight for a meeting with the ministry's senior officials.

Khairy was named Health Minister in Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob's Cabinet, swapping places with Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba who is now Science, Technology and Innovation Minister.
