Covid-19: Decision to halt GPs' involvement in PICK is only temporary, says govt

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The decision to halt the involvement of private general practitioners in the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) in the Klang Valley is only temporary.

The Health Ministry (MOH) and Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry (Mosti), in a joint statement on Thursday (Aug 26), said the decision was made after studying various factors such as the capacity of the vaccination centres (PPV), the number of vaccines and the supplies as well as the number of people who still need to be vaccinated.
