Minister: Perikatan Cabinet has concluded its final meeting

PETALING JAYA: A Cabinet minister claims that Monday morning's (Aug 16) meeting was the last Cabinet meeting of the Perikatan Nasional government.

"Alhamdulillah. The last Cabinet meeting of the Perikatan Nasional government has been concluded this morning," Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali said in a Facebook post Monday.

"The Prime Minister is now going to have an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong," he added.

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin arrived at Istana Negara at 12.23pm on Monday.

He arrived in a black Toyota Vellfire, accompanied by a police escort.

The Pagoh MP was seen leaving the Palace at 1.01pm Monday.
