TWO centenarians had their wishes granted when they received their Covid-19 vaccination on the same day at Maahad Tahfiz Al-Quran Wal Qiraat, Pulai Chondong, in Machang, Kelantan, Berita Harian reported.
Munah Yunus, 114, and her sister Pah, 111, from Kampung Rengas Labok, were accompanied by their children to the vaccination centre on Monday.

Siti Mariam Taib, 64, said her mother Munah was really excited to get vaccinated as she was worried about the Covid-19 situation.
“My mother was in good spirits because her sister was also getting vaccinated at the same time. My mother and her sister have been very close since young as they do not have other siblings.
“Alhamdullilah, the process went smoothly,” said Siti Mariam.
Munah does not have any chronic illness but cannot walk after she fell down.
She has 15 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
Mohd Ramli Ismail, 63, son of Pah, said he was grateful that there was no problem after his mother was vaccinated.
