Cops tracking down men who fled from PPR after crawling under barbed wire


KUALA LUMPUR: Police are tracking down the two men who escaped under a barbed wire fence at a people's housing project (PPR) in Jalan Kampung Pasir here.

City deputy police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Yong Lei Choo said that the search is ongoing.

"We have mobilised our men in the sector and we should be able to get the two of them soon. As of now there have not been any more cases like this but if it does happen the same effort will be made to trace them. We will also work with other agencies on this," she added at a press conference at the Sentul Murni PPR here on Monday (July 5)

In a roughly two-minute video clip that went viral on Sunday (July 5), two men are seen crawling under a barbed-wire barricade at a block of flats before jumping over a fence and escaping into the surrounding area.
