Foreign Ministry ready to help coordinate this year’s haj


KUALA LUMPUR: The Foreign Ministry is ready to assist in the coordination of affairs involving Malaysian haj pilgrims according to the ministry’s jurisdiction if the Saudi Arabian government allows the ritual to be performed this year.

For now, Malaysia was still waiting for an official announcement from the government of Saudi Arabia regarding the matter, said Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein (pic) in a statement.
