CITF: Registration for AstraZeneca vaccination slots now closed


PETALING JAYA: The registration for AstraZeneca vaccination slots has been closed, about one and a half hours after registration opened around 12.15pm on Wednesday (May 26).

This was confirmed by the he Covid-19 Immunisation Taskforce (CITF) in a tweet on its official account.

“Appointment booking for the second round of the AstraZeneca Voluntary Vaccine Initiative is now closed. Those who are eligible will receive an appointment soon Thank you for your interest in helping the nation achieve herd immunity, ” it said on Wednesday.

During the first round of the voluntary opt-in for AstraZeneca which was made available only to Klang Valley residents on May 2, the 268,000 slots were fully booked in less than four hours.
