KUALA LUMPUR: Worn-out T-shirts are often used as rags but many would be surprised to know that some used ones can fetch up to thousands of ringgit and are sought after by vintage clothing lovers all over the world.

Buyers of pre-loved clothes don’t mind rummaging through the piles at “bundle” (used clothing) outlets for T-shirts, some of which are sold for as low as RM5 apiece.
