JOHOR BARU: Since last month, all elective surgeries in the state have been put on hold, except emergency operations or surgeries related to cancer.
State health and environment committee chairman R. Vidyananthan said this was an instruction from the Health Ministry as part of its measures in tackling the Covid-19 situation in the country.
