Health DG: Unauthorised saliva test kits sold online are unreliable


PETALING JAYA: Malaysians need to be wary of saliva-based Covid-19 self-testing kits being sold online by unauthorised sellers as they may not be accurate, says the Health Ministry.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that their accuracy would be questionable as these kits were not approved by the Institute for Medical Research (IMR).
