Covid-19: 2,776 new cases bring total to 395,718

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 2,776 new Covid-19 cases on Monday (April 26), bringing the cumulative total to 395,718.

Selangor has the highest number of infections at 762 followed by Sarawak (615), Kelantan (343) and Johor (309).

Thirteen deaths were also recorded, bringing the death toll to 1,449, according to a tweet by Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

There were also 1,803 recoveries, which means 369,556 have recovered from the disease nationwide.

There are 24,713 active cases.

A total of 300 patients are in intensive care units, with 133 requiring ventilation support.
