KOTA KINABALU: A company manager and a civil servant have been arrested for allegedly making claims using fake bills for maintenance work on a 1Malaysia mobile clinic boat in 2019.
The claims are said to be worth about RM336,000.
They were arrested at the Sandakan Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) office on Tuesday.
Sabah MACC director S. Karunanithy said the men, both aged 46, were brought to the Sandakan Magistrate’s Court yesterday and have been remanded until April 12.
