Selangor's Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin makes brief reappearance on TV1 news

PETALING JAYA: Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin made a special appearance on a TV1 news programme in conjunction with Radio Televisyen Malaysia's 75th anniversary.

Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin was seen live on Berita Perdana Khas at 8pm on Thursday (April 1).

Astro Awani reported Khairul Azli Rahim, the Berita Perdana Khas producer as saying he was honoured and excited that Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin delivered a news segment he edited.

"This is the first time Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin appeared on television since she became the Tengku Permaisuri Selangor five years ago.

"On behalf of the production team and the RTM news publishing crew, I would like to thank her for taking the time to deliver the news today," he told Astro Awani.

Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin appeared for about 15 minutes and delivered some national news stories.

She was an RTM news presenter before her marriage to Selangor's Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah on Aug 31,2016.
