JPJ to focus on advocacy, not punitive action, in fight against loud motorcycle exhausts, says Dr Wee


KUALA LUMPUR: The Road Transport Department (JPJ) will focus on advocacy rather than punitive action in its enforcement against loud motorcycle exhausts, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

The Transport Minister said he had spoken with JPJ director-general Datuk Zailani Hashim and suggested that offenders not be issued summonses for the time being.
