We can work with a 'repentant' Umno but can Anwar be PM, asks Amanah

PETALING JAYA: Parti Amanah Negara is open to cooperating with Umno if it has repented and gives an answer as to whether or not Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim can be the Prime Minister, says party communications chief Khalid Abdul Samad.

“Is Umno ready to play second fiddle to Pakatan Harapan? If cooperation with Umno is to happen, it must happen with conditions and not for expediency. Umno must change and not seen as practising corrupt politics," Khalid said in a statement on Tuesday (March 16).
