PUTRAJAYA: The enhanced movement control order placed on Kampung Sebako 1 and 2 in Lundu, Sarawak will be lifted on Friday (Feb 19).
Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that to date, 505 screenings for Covid-19 had been carried out, with 24 positive cumulative cases recorded.
He said that health authorities confirmed that all those positive had been sent to hospital for treatment.
“Close contact to those positive have been isolated at home, and their condition will be monitored up to day 14.
“After carrying out risk assessment on the situation at the two localities, the government agree to end the enhanced MCO order on Feb 19 as scheduled, ” he said.
The two villages had been placed under the order since Feb 6.
