National road safety plan credited with reducing fatalities

PETALING JAYA: The initiatives and intervention measures under the Malaysia Road Safety Plan 2014-2020 have contributed to the reduction of death rates from road accidents.

The Transport Ministry said with the initiatives under the Malaysia Road Safety Plan 2014-2020, death rates declined by an average of 4.8% annually from 2016 to 2019.
