Bukit Melawati rep Juwairiya Zulkifli is Selangor MB's new pol-sec

KLANG: Bukit Melawati assemblyman Juwairiya Zulkifli has been appointed as Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari's new political secretary.

She replaces Tanjong Sepat assemblyman Borhan Aman Shah who was appointed as state executive councillor in September last year.

When contacted on Monday (Feb 8), Juwairiya confirmed the appointment.

"I received my appointment letter today and will be sworn in before the state executive council on Wednesday," said the first term assemblyman.

She added that being the Mentri Besar's political secretary was going to be a very challenging task.

"But I am prepared to serve the state and the Mentri Besar," said Juwairiya.
