Anwar files application to refer questions in suit against Emergency proclamation

PETALING JAYA: Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (pic) has filed an application to refer various questions to the Federal Court over his recent High Court application for a judicial review over the government's advice on the proclamation of Emergency.

His lawyer Ramkarpal Singh said one of the questions to consider was whether the decision to give advice and/or the advice given by the Cabinet, led by the Prime Minister, to the King to suspend Parliament was subjected to ouster clauses in Article 150 of the Federal Constitution.
