Bukit Aman: Retired cops who haven’t received Jasa Pahlawan Negara medal still eligible for RM500 one-off payment


PETALING JAYA: Retired police personnel who have yet to receive their Jasa Pahlawan Negara medal are still eligible for the RM500 one-off payment, says Bukit Aman.

"During the MCO, the police have agreed that the one-off payment of RM500 is to be given to those eligible according to the statuses of the Pingat Jasa Pahlawan Negara, including those that have yet to receive their medals," said Bukit Aman Management Department director Comm Datuk Ramli Din in a statement on Wednesday (Feb 3).

He added that applicants must prepare their supporting documents, and that they can update their details via epesara@rmp.gov.my.

"Payment will be given out from March to November, in stages, ” said Ramli.

The allocation was previously announced under Budget 2021.
