Ismail Sabri: 608 detained for MCO violations on Saturday (Jan 16)

PETALING JAYA: Police detained 608 people for defying MCO SOPs on Saturday (Jan 16), says Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri.

He said of the number, 27 were remanded and the other 580 were compounded. One was released on bail.

He said authorities also seized two tekongs and arrested 17 illegal immigrants under Ops Benteng.
