Sunway Property is all set to develop Sunway Velocity TWO

MASTER community developer Sunway Property recently unveiled the highly anticipated final residential phase of Sunway Velocity TWO, Tower C.

The development located a mere 3.8km from Kuala Lumpur City Centre comprises three plots, which are linked to the high demand Sunway Velocity development.

Plot A has two residential towers (Tower A and B), an office tower and retail units.

Plot B has two residential blocks and retail units while Plot C is a commercial component.

First launched in 2018, Sunway Velocity TWO’s Towers A and B were fully sold out in less than a year, and are planned for vacant possession in 2022.

"The registrations we’ve received so far have been encouraging and we are confident of the take-up for Tower C based on the response to Tower A and Tower B,” said Sunway Bhd’s property development division central region executive director Chong Sau Min.

“Also, during the movement control order, we are fortunate to have units purchased through our digital channels and currently, the take-up is still strong.”

The 48-storey Tower C will offer 467 units with sizes ranging from 678sqft to 915sqft, ideal for first-time homebuyers, young couples or families.

There is also a dual-key option, ideal for renting out, multigenerational stay, or turning it into a home-office.

Within the development, there are also ample green spaces including a 1-acre private park (picture below) at the ground floor exclusive for residents of Tower C and Tower D.

Additionally, there are facilities such as an outdoor fitness station, infinity swimming pool, integrated playground, karaoke and games rooms, multipurpose hall cum badminton courts, sky garden, kids water play, rooftop BBQ areas, exclusive kitchen and gymnasium, among others.

In response to the work from home culture as a result of Covid-19 pandemic and the new normal, the developer will also provide a beautiful co-working space for the benefit of homeowners.

Sunway Velocity TWO is also a Green-RE certified development with a low overall carbon impact as its residential units are built with energy-efficient air conditioning that reduces energy usage while keeping its interiors cool.

To further reduce electricity consumption, it also uses daylight to illuminate over 80% of the staircase and car park areas.

Being a part of a larger integrated development, the entire Sunway Velocity TWO development will be linked to the adjacent Sunway Velocity development by three covered and guarded link bridges.

Sunway Velocity encompasses a one million sqft mall, a 2-acre park, a medical centre, a hotel, a college and two office towers that are operated and managed by the team.

Besides 1,795 units of stratified residential units, offices and retail units within the 23-acre development, residents are just a five-minute walk away from shopping, dining, healthcare and learning facilities.

Through Sunway Velocity, Sunway Velocity TWO is also connected to two existing Mass Rail Transit (MRT) stations, which are Maluri LRT interchange station and Cochrane station.

With the upcoming Chan Sow Lin MRT station (LRT interchange station), this means that residents can utilise the public transportation network for quicker and smoother travelling for work or leisure activities across the Klang Valley.

A smart and sustainable community

In tandem with the unveiling of the final residential phase, Sunway Property is continuing its vision to build a smart and sustainable community for the diverse communities within the Sunway Velocity and Sunway Velocity TWO developments.

Both Sunway Velocity and Sunway Velocity TWO recently received MSC Malaysia Cybercentre (MSC) status from the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), making it the first Cybercentre in Cheras.

Chong said that the area makes an ideal hot spot for information and communication technology (ICT) companies.

“Sunway Velocity and Sunway Velocity TWO are surrounded by 15 institutions of higher education within 15 km, including Sunway College @ Velocity, which is located within the development. These institutions will provide a vibrant talent pool of thousands of students and vast research collaboration potential.

“With the support of public transportation that connects to the MSC Malaysia Cybercentre via Sunway Velocity, the developments make an attractive commercial hub for businesses and investments.

“At MSC Malaysia Cybercentre via Sunway Velocity, we aim to leverage the experience we have gathered in Sunway City Kuala Lumpur to develop an innovation hub.

“Leveraging on our experience, we will build a networking or value-added programme for the business community, as well as implement an incubation programme for startups,” he said.

Currently, Sunway Property is setting up a one-stop centre cyber management office which will run an incubator to nurture entrepreneurs, provide business development programmes, and act as a customer service centre for businesses within Sunway Velocity.

“Once completed, we will assist our businesses communities here to collaborate with institutions of higher learning around the area with focus on developing artificial intelligence solutions for healthcare,” added Chong.

Sunway Property is also planning to turn its next proposed corporate office tower located within the Sunway Velocity TWO development with a net lettable area of 360,000sqft into a designated building. The tower was recently awarded Platinum for Provisional GreenRE certification and is currently under construction with a target to be completed by Q2 2022.

Currently, Sunway Property is running the Treasures of Togetherness campaign in conjunction with Chinese New Year of which Sunway Velocity TWO is part of, where prospective homebuyers can book a new property with RM88 only, and enjoy Home Ownership Campaign (HOC) savings up to RM270,000, furnishing packages up to RM50,000, 15 months subsidy on loan instalments and 24 months interest free instalments.

The other participating projects eligible for this promotion are Sunway Avila, Sunway Subang, Infiniti 3, Sunway Serene, Sunway Geolake Residences and Sunway Belfield.
