Two Sarawak longhouses under lockdown with immediate effect

KUCHING: Two longhouses in Sarawak have been placed under immediate lockdown after a Covid-19 case was detected among its residents, says Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah.

The Deputy Chief Minister said an 86-year-old man from Rumah Sungai Putong, Ulu Undop, who experienced symptoms, tested positive on Thursday (Jan 7) after seeking treatment at the Sri Aman health clinic on Wednesday (Jan 6).
