Viral message about "Kobait dam" on social media is fake, says PAIP

KUANTAN: State water concessionaire Pengurusan Air Pahang Bhd (PAIP) has rubbished a message spread on social media that water is going to be released from a so-called "Empangan Kobait"(sic).

PAIP said the message, which called for residents to beware as the automatic gate of the so-called dam would be opened anytime to release water into Sungai Bukit Rangin, was false.
