Opposition makes eighth failed bloc vote

THE allocation for the Communications and Multimedia Ministry under Budget 2021 was passed at the committee stage after a bloc vote called by the Opposition failed to garner enough support.

This is the Opposition’s eighth failed bloc vote at the committee stage.
