KUALA LUMPUR: Some hawkers had to wait as long as 515 days for license approvals from Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), the Auditor-General (AG) Report 2019 revealed.
"The audit found that as of June 30,2020, the status of 392 license applications in 2019 were still 'in process' and had exceeded the period for approval for new licenses which was fixed.
